Spicy Vegan Cashew Dressing

The other day at work I got to try this healthy "fast food" restaurant called Sweetgreen. They are basically like a Chipotle, but instead of building burritos you get to build salad bowls. I ordered their spicy thai salad and was absolutely amazed with the dressing. While eating it I kept thinking of all the ways I would use this dressing. Here is my version of Sweetgreen's spicy cashew dressing.

Add all ingredients to food processor and blend. So simple.

Spicy Vegan Cashew Dressing


1/3 cup cashews

1/4 cup avocado oil

1 tablespoon spicy sesame oil

3 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

1 tablespoon raw honey (use maple syrup if you want this to be vegan)

3 cloves garlic

1/4 inch knob ginger

1 teaspoon chili flakes

1 teaspoon Sriracha

1 juice of a lemon


Add all ingredients to food processor and blend until smooth.
